The medical society supports a vendor and sponsor program that accepts outside funds (non-dues revenue) to support county medical society activities. Organizations can sponsor MCMS activities and programs if you agree to financially support the MCMS Scholarship Fund and the annual installation dinner and business meeting. Interested organizations should contact MCMS staff for a copy of program guidelines.
Currently, MCMS gives exclusive support to two endorsed vendors – PMSLIC and USI Affinity. An endorsed vendor is an individual or organization subject to the majority approval of the society board of directors. Endorsement is limited only to those companies providing to physicians, goods and/or services that are within the healthcare industry. Endorsement relationships are defined by the board as “exclusive” of “non-exclusive.”
