MCMS's political advocacy efforts cover a wide variety of health care issues. We work closely with state legislators and government agencies to change state laws and regulations to improve health care in Pennsylvania.

Practice managers and administrators are encouraged to attend a breakfast seminar titled, “Health Reform: How the Affordable Care Act Will Impact You and Your Practice.” The seminar will be held on Nov. 18, 8-10:30 a.m. at the Health & Wellness Center by Doylestown Hospital, 847 Easton Road, Route 611, Warrington.
PAMPAC
One of the largest bipartisan political action committees in the state, it is made up of members of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and its Alliance who are interested in making a positive contribution to the medical profession through the political process. PAMPAC supports pro-medicine candidates running for the Pennsylvania state legislature or statewide office.
Political Task Force
The Montgomery County Medical Society Political Task Force needs volunteer physicians to serve as advocates for the profession.
